Staunton State Park is hosting their first EVER Adaptive Recreation Weekend this Saturday and Sunday and Exploryst has been invited to showcase our offerings and how we can help the disability community be more active and find fun and exciting things to do around Colorado.
The event will be from 10-2pm on June 12th and 13th! The event is free, but a valid park pass is required
If you are not familiar with Staunton State Park and their Track Chair Program, you are definitely missing out. My family heard about it 4 or 5 years ago and at least once a season we are able to reserve a track chair (it looks like a wheelchair on tank treads) for a 3-5 mile hike through Colorado’s newest state park.
New things are on the horizon for Exploryst as well, so we hope to see you there.
