Pitkin County Library

The mission of the Pitkin County Library is to enrich our community by inspiring lifelong learning and providing access to information and ideas.

Our board is responsible for curating this mission.

The public is welcome to attend Library Board Meetings which are held at noon the second Wednesday of every month except for December when there is no Board Meeting. The posting place for agendas has been temporarily changed to the front window of the library instead of the front display case.  Staff in the computer lab in the Dunaway Community Meeting Room will allow people into the main part of the library to attend meetings during this time that building access is limited due to the pandemic.
