The Museum of Contemporary Art Denver (MCA Denver) is a 27,000-square foot, environmentally sustainable facility in lower downtown Denver, filled with natural light and large windows houses rotating quarterly exhibitions within its five galleries.

MCA Denver inspires and challenges audiences, hopes to create “understanding and dialog about the art of our time.” There is also a shop, library, educational spaces, and a rooftop café.

Q Accessibility FAQ 1 - Color Blind Glasses

We are so excited to announce that we are officially the first museum in Colorado to offer our visitors EnChroma glasses for color-blind visitors. Four different pairs of EnChroma glasses are available now for visitors to borrow during their visits.

Q Accessibility FAQ 2 - Parking

The museum does not operate its own parking lot. Public parking is available in the parking garage at 1900 16th St. We offer validated parking for up to 2 hours, before 4pm, Tuesday-Friday. All other times are flat rate & no validation is required.

Before 4pm $6 (with validation) / After 4pm $5 / Weekends $7

Limited meter parking is available on Delgany St.

Q Accessibility FAQ 3 - Seating

Benches designed by architect David Adjaye are available on every floor. Folding chairs are also available and any staff person and volunteer can help with chair requests.

Q Accessibility FAQ 4 - Wheelchair Accessible & Rentals

MCA Denver’s galleries, offices, restrooms and public spaces are all wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of wheelchairs available for our guests. Please contact the museum to reserve one for your visit or for any additional arrangements.
