Among it’s high canyon backdrop, Clear Creek Canyon Park offers many unique recreation experiences, including accessible fishing. For the first time bicycles are allowed in the canyon with the newly opened segment of the Peaks to Plains Trail. Caution is needed when enjoying the creek and engaging in high-risk activities such as kayaking, rafting, and rock climbing. Gold prospectors must adhere to Open Space Regulations.

The river has ADA accessible piers.

Anglers must carry a valid Colorado fishing license with habitat stamp. The park does not sell fishing licenses.
