A short drive northeast of Denver, Barr Lake State Park houses a 2,000-acre lake where you can catch rainbow trout, bluegill, walleye, small and large-mouth bass, channel catfish, and wiper and tiger muskie.

A Colorado Fishing license is required for everyone 16 and older. The park does not sell fishing licenses. An ADA accessible fishing pier allows everyone the chance to catch that BIG fish.
