“Built in the early 1980s, the 16th Street Mall is a pedestrian walkway that runs through Downtown Denver for over one mile, from Broadway (east end), past Writers Square, LODO, and Union Station all the way across the Millennium Bridge (west end). The route is lined with historic buildings, outdoor cafes, skyscrapers, shops, retail stores, and restaurants. There are also many fountains and plazas which offer daily entertainment and special events.

There is also a free shuttle bus that runs the length seven days a week.
