Chatfield Reservoir, located within Chatfield State Park, in Jefferson and Douglas counties southwest of Denver, is a 1,400-acre lake. The reservoir stocks perch, white bass, crappie, catfish, trout, and walleye. An accessible fishing pier is located near the marina on the east side of the lake.

There is also an accessible trail to the South Platte River.

A Colorado Fishing license is required for everyone 16 and older. The park does not sell fishing licenses.
